My happy place...

Do you have a happy place? I hope so...I think everyone should have a place where they love to go. Mine is the beach. I am trying my best to make it my kids' happy place too. I don't have to be sitting ON the beach, necessarily, but I do have to be in a beachy town. I love the whole atmosphere of a beach town. I love how, even in the nicest restaurants, people will be wearing flip flops and women will have no make-up on and their hair will be tied back all messy like they just walked right off the beach into the resaurant to eat. I love how little kids smell when they get out of the pool and you spend all day playing in the sun and wearing yourself out and take the best naps ever in the afternoons. I love how no one is from there...everyone is from somewhere else and kids just make a new friend everyday playing in the pool. I love how no one ever knows what time it is because it doesn't matter. The beach is by far, the happiest place for me...(sorry mickey mouse). Here are some pics from our happy weekend at the beach.
